I am not even a semipro photog. I have a Canon S2 IS, not an SLR. I was being hustled around to shoot what amounted to a casual ceremony of my sister in law. So tripod etc wasn't an option either. Nor did I have a stringpod at the time. I simply did the best I could on short order with the tools I had on hand. Though I will remember your suggestion if I scratch up the funds for a new camera. Thanks!

Wheras I can appreciate Georges' brilliance with Pixelmator, if he had thought a little bit when taking the photograph he would have chosen aperture-priority on his camera, clicked f4, and the background would have been gone! Assuming he had a camera (DSLR) he could do that on! Hopefully he would have had a tripod he could put the camera on so he could have got the girls really sharp!!!!!
